Children's Moment with Grandma Jean
Children are treasured by everyone at Zion Grace
Since our numbers are small, we are able to know each child in a personal way. Our children are not just a face, they are a dear gift from God and are cared for and loved by the entire congregation. Everyone at Zion Grace understands the importance of encouraging each little one to grow in God’s love.
Our children are nurtured through three ministries:
- Sunday morning classes
- Wednesday afternoon & evening activities
- Summer Happenings
Wednesday activities (held during the school year)
Our Wednesday program begins with tutoring, homework help and computer lab sessions.
The children benefit from our weekly “Read One, Take One” Program in which time is allowed at the end of every homework session for each student to select a new book from our collection, read it and take it home.
Following the above sessions, the children join the rest of the congregation for dinner. After dinner they participate in a discipleship class.
Our Wednesday afternoons and evenings are full!!
