Becoming More like Christ, Leading others to Christ

Youth

The Christian-In-Action Youth Ministry at Zion Grace is about training young people to lead  the cause of Christ, and applying this to every area of their life.

The youth ministry is more than programs  and events; it is a means for both junior high and high school students to grow as individuals while exploring ideas, values, and faith within the context of a supportive community of peers and adults.

The church is designed to help spiritually train and equip teens in a fun and Christian atmosphere to the Glory of God.

Zion Grace strives to provide a variety of opportunities and experiences. Teens are drawn into active, responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the faith community.

Youth participate in the worship service and develop a personal relationship with Jesus.

Christian-In-Action youth group meetings consist of games, team-building activities, and lessons related to the stories of the Bible.

Depending upon the skills and interests of the teen volunteers, other undertakings can range from Lock-Ins, Car Washes, Visiting Shut- Ins, and Adopt-A-Highway, to after school activities and beyond!

Zion Grace helps our youth understand that engaging in these activities is a wonderful way to spread Christ's love throughout our community.

Our youth ministry helps youth share their gifts and talents to develop a positive self-image to overcome prejudices, and learn to develop respect for others differences.
